Introduction:
I am trying to follow the steps to add a custom metric to be polled to Report Manager, The metric is displayed in oneClick but there is no attribute associated to it.
Environment:
Spectrum 10.x
Instructions:

Lets map the metric to an attribute using mib tools.

Launch mib tools

launch mib tools

This will take a while to load its mibs

loading mibs

….

Once mibtools is open, we can search for the mib we are trying to use, in this case power-ethernet

search for the mib

Now we can expand that mib and find the metric we are interested in, in this case

pethMainPseConsumptionPower, 1.3.6.1.2.1.105.1.3.1.1.4.

find the metric

…..

Now let's see if there is an attribute associated with it and if not, we can map one, at the top select the map tab

no attribute shown

….

In this case the metric is not associated with an attribute by default, so using the map button at the top, we will map it to one.

map the attribute

….

And the metric is mapped to an attribute.

successfully mapped

….

And now the metric has an attribute value:

metric now has an attribute

you can now proceed to add the new metric to Report Manager.
