Description:

After upgrade to 9.2.1,

Initial or incremental mapping could fail with the error:

Initial mapping request failed!

Partial success: xx elements had been mapped before receiving the following:

eHealth mapping error: Excessive errors writing to Southbound Gateway model.

or

Incremental mapping request failed!

eHealth mapping error: Excessive errors writing to Southbound Gateway model.

Solution:

During the upgrade to Spectrum 9.2.1, the attribute EH_Map_version (0x130be) should have been updated from 3 to 4. If this update process failed, you will get these errors.

There are two possbile solutions for this this.

  1. Recycle all SpectroSERVERs in the environment.

    or

  2. Do a locator search for all models that still have the EH_Map_version attribute set to a value of 3.

    Figure 1

Once found change the value to 4 by highlighted the affected models and editing the attribute.

    Re-run the mapping.
