Issue:

When starting the Spectrum Control Panel (SCP) it is showing old an Landscape that was removed from the Distributed SpectroSERVER (DSS) environment. Running $SPECROOT/SS-Tools/MapUpate -v does not show the LandScape as being in the Landscape map.

Cause:

The Spectrum Control Panel does not get the Landscape information from the Landscape map. It gets the information from the Location Server cache.

Resolution:

The old Landscape needs to be flushed out of the Location Server cache. Run $SPECROOT/SS-Tools/HostUpdate -view to view the Location Server cache. Note the hostname or ip address of the old Landscape and then run $SPECROOT/SS-Tools/HostUpdate -remove <HOSTNAME/IP> where <HOSTNAME/IP> is the hostname or ip address of the old Landscape. Rerun $SPECROOT/SS-Tools/HostUpdate -view to verify the old Landscape has been removed.
