Spectrum 10.2 with Report Manager integrated, BeanNotReadyException errors are seen when the OneClick Spectrum Tomcat is restarted.

Issue:

In Spectrum 10.2 with Spectrum Report Manager (SRM), the following errors are seen in the OneClick tomcat log after Spectrum tomcat restart.

 

SEVERE: Servlet.service() for servlet [jsp] in context with path [/spectrum] threw exception [com.aprisma.spectrum.app.repmgr.container.BeanNotReadyException: srmRegistry] with root cause

                at com.aprisma.spectrum.app.repmgr.container.SRMApplicationContext.getBeanWithRetry(Unknown Source)

Environment:
Spectrum 10.2Spectrum Report Manager (SRM)
Cause:

The exception “BeanNotReady” indicates that SRM has not finished starting. 

Resolution:

The error is benign and can be safely ignored and does not influence the SRM startup time.  The error will be handled in a future release with a proper message rather than exception log.
