Introduction:
SpectroSERVER is running out of disk space, what are my options to regain space?
Instructions:
First thing you may want to check is to see if you can get rid of any old files/database backups that you may no longer need. You can check the timestamps of these files to see if they are still relevant: These file include:

<SPECROOT>/SS-DB-Backup/*.SSdb.tgz
<SPECROOT>/SS/core*
<SPECROOT>/SS/support/*.dmp
<SPECROOT>/SS/DDM/support/*.dmp

You also can look at the DDMDB database and check the size of the tables. You can optimize these tables in order to reclaim disk space by following the steps in the link below:

https://comm.support.ca.com/kb/optimize-mysql-table-to-return-free-disk-space/kb000038340

Finally, you can always gracefully shut down the Spectrum processes and add more disk space as needed.
