Answer:
When trying to run an NCM capture when seeing the error:
SPC-OCC-11528: Missing device username
This means that you need in NCM to add the username and password.
This is done at the local device level under:
Information tab> Network Configuration Manager > Local Communication Configuration
Setting the user name here should also populate the attribute:
NCM_Username
At the device family this is done under:
Select device family > Contents pane > information tab > Device Configuration Transfer Settings
