When checking the Spectrum Tomcat log, we can see:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Can't overwrite cause with com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSenderFailedException: 501 5.1.7 Invalid address

This seems to happen whenever an alarm got assigned to a user or an alarm was acknowledged.
Environment:
Windows 2008R2
Spectrum 10.2.2
Cause:
Whenever an alarm is assigned to a user, the sender name is used, instead of the sender email address.
Resolution:
The SE team has created patch Spectrum_10.02.02.D317 with a potential fix. Customer tested the patch and it solved the issue for them.
