Some UIM IM user profiles not reading alarms from database

Some users no longer seeing historical active alarms in their IM. 
They do not get the 'Reading Alarms from Database' when refreshing their profile.
They are however still seeing new alarms from when they started their session.

The IM profiles are saved on the local hub machine that is on each hub. 
For example when user changes a setting/presses Ctrl-P to save the IM profile using "Save As" - the resultant file is saved on the hub machine in: 

...\Program Files (x86)\Nimsoft\hub\profiles 

Note that the .pcf file is not manually editable (it's a binary file) 

For backup/restore, the .pcf profile file should be copied from/to \hub\profiles folder. 
If there is more than one hub, then profile(s) get replicated to other hubs as well.

This could be caused by corruption of the IM profile

Workaround is to delete /recreate the related user profile from IM ->View ->Manage Profiles if backup is not available
