Jobs sent to some DTS agents are failing with "Job Execution error, no access to Software Package Library [SDM228471]"

CAF status shows these machines have the DTS agent installed and running. Dtsping <hostname> even returns results to and from these machines, why is the error occurring?


Check if DTS is enabled. The error indicates that the agent does not have DTS enabled and is trying to connect via the default NOS share method to the scalability share.

To verify this, right click on one of the agents and select properties and then the Software Delivery tab, check what the Download method is set to and change it to DTS if required.


To change the download method to DTS for a group of machines, highlight the group of machines and then right click on the group and select Software Jobs- Download method - DTS- Nosless.
