Description:

When you install Access Control on ESX then by default Access Control Agent ports are blocked by ESX which causes "socket creation failed" message when trying to connect to ESX endpoint from Endpoint Management.

Solution:

To overcome this issue you should open up AC Agent ports on the ESX using the following command:

esxcfg-firewall -o 8891,tcp,in,AC_In
