Issue:

In API Portal replication model.

The IP address of Master box was changed.

And config.xm of slave node is updated.

After that, the slave information is duplicated in "Shared Folders" of "Replication Manager".

There is two slave information in "Shared Folders".

And the number of "of Pending Notifications"(and "of Un-Notified Master Changes") keeps increasing.

What is the troubleshooting?

Environment:
Portal 3.x
Cause:

The unneeded data  exist in repxxx tables .

It is necessary to clean up the database to remove the unneeded data.

Resolution:

Check the unneeded data by running the following SQL.

 . select * from repMasters;

 . select * from repSlaves;

 . select * from

 . select slave, status, count(*) from repNotifications n join repChanges c on n.changeItem = c.id group by slave, status;

Run the following queries for remove the unneeded replication records.

 . delete from repActions where master = {the unneeded record};

 . delete from repNotifications where slave in ({the unneeded records});

 . delete from repSlaves where id = {the unneeded record};

 . delete from repMasters where id = {the unneeded record};
