The Installer is able to connect to the LDAP and the log shows:

COMMAND: "C:\Documents and Settings\C11668\Local Settings\Temp\1\274845.tmp\smldapsetupLdgen.cmd"
COMMAND: "C:\Documents and Settings\C11668\Local Settings\Temp\1\274845.tmp\smldapsetupLdmod.cmd"
COMMAND: "C:\Documents and Settings\C11668\Local Settings\Temp\1\274845.tmp\smregSu.cmd"
STDOUT: The super user could not be saved in the policy store.
Failed to create the super user account.

and the manual "smldapsetup ldgen" command creates a 0 byte file. What could cause this for my (Novell eDirectory) LDAP? How does one resolve this?
