Question:

I have installed CA APM for SSO 13.1 as per documentation but I can't find how to enable the OSresource epagent plugin as a result part of the Siteminder dashboards are empty.  What is the process to enable the EPAgent plugins?

Environment:
APM for SSO 13.1
Answer:

As of now the APM for SSO integration does not include any EPAgent plugins. The Siteminder management module is the same from v12.0.4 and it hasn’t been updated to reflect this change.

However, you can work around this issue by deploying the epagent plugins manually – attached a copy of the EPAgent plugins from previous Wily Siteminder Manager version 12.0.4

Installation Instructions:

1- First, do not deploy these EPagent scripts into the same EPagent that is handling the APM for SSO metric data and traces, having a separate EPAgent process is necessary.
Configure the connection to the EM, process and agent name accordingly to your needs. For more information refer to the EPAgent documentation section

2- Download attached
epagent_SSO.zip and extract one of the attached packages (windows/unix) to your EPAGENT_HOME directory.
For example, if you are using Linux, under epagent/epaplugins/linux you should see

3- Update the IntroscopeEPAGent.properties > Stateful and Stateless plugin sections as below:

4.-You might need to manually create a EPAGENT_HOME/pids folder

5- Start the EPAgent

6.- Verify the plugin metrics in the investigator and Siteminder dashboard
