Summary:

Trying to access Office Documents as Word through an Apache Reverse Proxy, I never see the SPSESSION needed to access the document and then, I cannot access it. I followed instructions from documentation, but I only see the SMSESSION cookie and never get the SPSSESSION. Did I miss something in configuration?

Instructions:

In order to allow fully the Reverse Proxy to produce the SPSESSION cookie, you need to check these:

On each backend server:

Change the ACO of the back end server running the SharePoint
Agent ACO:

* set ProxyTrust yes
* set ProxyAgent no

Change the ACO of the reverse proxy:

* set ProxyTrust no
* set ProxyAgent yes

In WebAgent.conf of the Web Agent on the Reverse Proxy, add:

Linux
* LoadPlugin="/opt/CA/webagent/bin/libSPPlugin.so"

Windows
* LoadPlugin="C:\Program Files\CA\webagent\bin\SPPlugin.dll"

If these are not set, the Reverse Proxy won't work with the SharePoint Agent for Office Integration.
