Introduction:
We can use the value of a variable binding for the alarm title.
Instructions:
Add a dynamic alarm title and test in OneClick

C:\win32app\Spectrum\custom\Events\AlertMap
1.3.6.1.4.4.1.6.3 0x050e1106 1.3.6.1.4.1.10.1.1(76620,0)

• The OID map contains the variable bindings that are sent with the traps
    • The value in front of the ‘(’ is the variable binding OID
    • The first value inside the parenthesis is the event variable ID which will contain the variable binding value
    • The second value inside the parenthesis is the event variable ID which will contain the instance portion if the variable binding is a row of a table object

C:\win32app\Spectrum\custom\Events\EventDisp
0x50e1106 E 50 A 1,0x50e1106,76620

Edit the 0x50e1106 event message in Event Configuration Editor to output the variable bindings as follows:
The value of the dynamic alarm title at  1.3.6.1.4.1.10.1.1 is  {S 76620}

Send a trap with the above AlertMap mappings to populate the 0x12b4c (76620 in decimal) and use EventDisp to create an event that alarms.
ip  address will be the SS servers.
the source is the device which you want to alarm.

trap
