Question:

sesudo execution error with the message "setuser: Resource temporarily unavailable".

Environment:
CA Privileged Identity Manager: All supported version.OS: Unix / Linux
Answer:

When you execute sesudo command, sesudo sometime shows error as follows.

$ sesudo <sudo resource name>

setuser: Error setuid=1005

setuser: Resource temporarily unavailable

This is caused when sesudo calls setuid to surrogate target user and setuid returns error by user resource unavailable.

In such a case, please check user resource limitation by ulimit -a command and expand the value for "max user processes".
