When stopping CA Service Desk 17.1 (with rollup 1 patch installed) one Java-process at around 15MB is not stopped. See uploaded image.
You will see in the Windows task manager the process that does not get stopped.

This is by design.
We want the interval logging tool keep running even after SDM is down so that we can capture traces while it goes down and while it starts up.
The only way to shut it down is using the Task Manager or disable it altogether.
If the client wants better options, then they can open an Enhancement Request / Idea.
