Symptoms:

Getting a security message that reports plan RAPBPLAN lacks authorization from the PTXMAN started task.   The message is repeated e.g. every 8 hours.

Examples:

ACF04056 ACCESS TO RESOURCE DB11 RAPBPLAN TYPE DPLN BY PTXMAN

TSS7251E Access Denied to DB2PLAN <RAPBPLAN>

A similar message for plan PLCAPLAN could also be seen.

 Cause:

The message you see is a result of CA Recovery Analyzer Health Check, for example DB2_PRA_#LOAD_LAST_RUN@xmanxxxx

For plan PLCAPLAN the product is Log Compress

Resolution/Workaround:

If you would like to disable the CA Recovery Analyzer Health Check for DB2_PRA_#LOAD_LAST_RUN in the future, you could add the following to SYS1.PARMLIB member HZSPRMxx:

ADDREPLACE POLICY

DELETE CHECK(CA_DB2,DB2_PRA_#LOAD_LAST_RUN*)

DATE(&YR4&LMON&LDAY)

REASON('DO NOT RUN PRA#LOAD DB2 TOOL HEALTH CHECK')

Alternative, using this statement will disable all the product’s Analyzer Health Check:

DELETE,CHECK=(CA_DB2,DB2_PRA_*) (Recovery Analyzer)

DELETE,CHECK=(CA_DB2,DB2_PLC*)  (Log Compress)
