QUESTION: In the CA Spectrum Administrator Guide for Spectrum 09.03.00 and below, there is a section providing information for configuring the OneClick web server to use Secure CORBA.

It states CORBA is unencrypted by default, but can be encrypted using SSL in it's communications with the SpectroServers. The steps to follow take you to the OneClick Administration -> Spectrum Configuration page. Then it states "Select Yes for Secure CORBA Communication Configuration". However, for Spectrum 09.04.00 or greater the Secure CORBA configuration is missing from the OneClick Administration -> Spectrum Configuration page.

ANSWER: This functionality was dropped because of licensing issues in the redistribution of third party libraries. If you examine the Spectrum 9.4.0 Administrator Guide, you will see that these instructions no longer appear.
