Question :

When using CA Service Desk Manager  with  Microsoft SQL Server database, my search is Accent Sensitive. Is it possible do use Accent Insensitive search ?

Answer :

Yes , you will need first to check the collation of your mdb database:

SELECT collation_name
FROM sys.databases
WHERE name = 'mdb'

you will get for instance : Modern_Spanish_CI_AS

CI = CASE INSENSITIVE
CS = CASE SENSITIVE
AI= ACCENT INSENSITIVE
AS= ACCENT SENSITIVE

So if you want to have Accent Insensitive, you will need to change collation from Modern_Spanish_CI_AS  to Modern_Spanish_CI_AI

Collation change is done usually by Database Administrator
