Save PDF in Chrome gives "Failed - Network Error"

Question:
Saving a PDF in Chrome “Failed – Network Error.”

The file is not saved.

No issues with opening/saving as PPT or with Internet Explorer.

STEPS
  • Access a Project or Idea Overview (Actions > Overview)
  • Convert to PDF
  • Try to save the PDF using a Chrome browser and get an error: "Failed – Network Error”. The file is not saved .

They are no issues with opening/saving as a different file type such as PPT or using this functionality in Internet Explorer.
Environment:
CA PPM and Chrome browser using the Chrome default PDF viewer.
Answer:
Chrome has the option to use its own PDF browser, which sometimes can't handle all files.

Set Chrome to open PDFs using a different PDF viewer other than the default Chrome PDF viewer.
For example, Adobe PDF Reader.
