S713 abend in the EBCSDIM

The client responded to the IEF233D mount message for his SARTAPE with a 'U' and received
     IEF233D M BE8F,T28025,,VIEWSTC,VIEWSTC, 109
     ACSNS.VIEW.RPT3.SARTAPE.T00001
07,
     OR RESPOND TO IEF455D MESSAGE

     IEC148I 713-04,IFG0195H,VIEWSTC,VIEWSTC,SYS00005,BE8F,T28025, 119
     ACSNS.VIEW.RPT3.SARTAPE.T0000107
CAPE022I VIEWSTC VIEWSTC ABENDED S713 IN PROGRAM EBCSDIM AT OFFSET +001788.

Environment:

All CA View releases running on a z/OS platform could be affected.

Cause:

The backup cycle was trying to write to CA View SARTAPE. If the expiration date
of the indicated data set is to be ignored and the program has authorization to write
on the data set, enter REPLY xx,U in response to this message. But when the operator
replied "U", an IEC507D message was issued that showed the CA View started task
intended to write on the volume indicated on the device. However, the expiration
date for the data set has not passed.  Since NEVEREXPIRE appears in message test,
the expiration date for the SARTAPE is set to never expire (for example, set to 99365
or 99366).  So the CA View started task abended with the S713.

Resolution/Workaround:

    There 2 paths to take:

    1. Change the CA View Installation parameter, EXPDT, to 99000 indicating
catalog control instead of 99365 or 99366 and recycle the CA View task
        with OPT=NEW.
   or

    2. Have the Jes and Automation groups at your site investigate what is
suppressing and responding 'M' to the IEC507D message. Then change it
to respond 'U' to the IEC507D message.
