Problem

Customer is expecting a DFHSM RECALL to be performed during a Faver EXPORT and receives a S0C4 in GVEXPORT

at +5248 ( can be in other offsets close to this). Using DFHSM with RECALL set to ON in GVPARMS.

Resolution

Customer has CA Hyperbuf installed. Customer should implement the following statements in the CA Hyperbuf Constraint Table to exclude CA Faver functions.

MODE=EXCLUDE

PROGRAM=GVEXPORT * CA FAVER - BACKUP

PROGRAM=GVRESTOR * CA FAVER - RESTORE

Additional Information

This same rule applies to other products similar to CA Hyperbuf. Be sure to exclude these programs from their buffering functions.
