Question:

Running View 12.2, why does the SARINIT DEFMODE parameter only show five values (DEFMODE=xxxxx)?

Environment:
CA View - Release 12.2 and Higher
Answer:

View 12.2, starting with INC00, allows for the setting of SARINIT DEFMODE=xxxxxx (six values).

An initial run of SARINIT, against the database, may only show five values.

In order to be able to see the six values, run SARINIT adding a sixth value (for example, DEFMODE=DYYYYY).

In subsequent SARINIT runs, six values will then be displayed for the parameter.

With the implementation of View 12.2 PTF RO94022, there is the ability to set the SARINIT JOBMODE=... parameter.

With a default of JOBMODE=NO, setting SARINIT JOBMODE=YES will enable JOB mode.
