RTTM is not reporting althought RTTM is running and enabled

Symptoms:

Although RTTM has been enabled, RTTM data is not being reported.

a.) RTTM service is running on CEM UI 

b.) BtStats/Enabled = 1 , on TIM Settings

c.) On TIM machine, there are no btstats files staying on TIM and unprocessed

 

Environment:

This issue has been seen on 10.1 CEM.

 

Cause:

Although BtStats/Enabled has been set to 1, <APM home folder>/tim/config/btstatsconfig.xml has the following value, for some reasons:

<BTStatsConfig enabled="0" maxInstPerInterval="600" reportUrlPath="0" reportUserGroup="0"> 

<DocInfo dateAndTime="<date and time>" version="1.0"/> 
<MatchUserGroupList/> 
<MatchUrlPathList/> 
</BTStatsConfig> 

 

Workaround:

Manually change the value above to:

<BTStatsConfig enabled="1" maxInstPerInterval="600" reportUrlPath="0" reportUserGroup="0"> 

Restart TIM
