RSM: Error received when creating defect that "associated CA Agile Central artifact is no longer present"

I have just setup CA Agile Central Support Manager and when I try to create a defect or requirement from Salesforce, I get a pop up error that says ' The associated CA Agile Central artifact is no longer present in the CA Agile Central project. It may have been deleted in CA Agile Central. The artifact will be disassociated with the case. '

Resolution:

This usually happens when the fields to link the Salesforce case in CA Agile Central have not been setup.

  1. You will want to recheck the workspace setup in CA Agile Central:
  2. Go to Setup Mode in CA Agile Central > Workspaces & Projects Tab.
  3. Click the link for your workspace and then go to the Work Products & Fields link in the left column.  For the User Story and/or Defect work products, make sure you have a custom field named exactly Salesforce Case that is a Type: Web Link.

There should also be two fields for the number of cases and affected customers. These should be Number of Cases (Integer) and Affected Customers (Text)
