Question:

Per the Single Sign-On documentation for setting up Authentication and Authorization Web Services, we support REST in XML format. Is it supported for JSON as well?

Answer:

1. The Secure Proxy Server supports REST only in the XML format. We do not supported it for JSON.

2. However, the CA Product Layer 7 API Gateway can work with messages in the JSON format. You can use the CA API Gateway to process and validate incoming JSON payloads, output to JSON, or transform messages from JSON to other content-types (for example, text/XML).
