Response Path Test reports in CA Performance Manager (CAPM) show different data than the CA eHealth reports

Description:

When running Response Path Test reports, for the same test and same time frame, the data in the eHealth report is different than the data in the IM report.

Solution:

The first distinction to note here is what eHealth collects for data from Response Path Tests vs. what IM collects for the same test.

The eHealth data collection for Response Path Tests collects active/current test data values from the device. This is true for all Response Path Tests monitored by eHealth.

The IM data collection for Response Path Tests collects the historical test data from the device. This is true for all Response Path Tests monitored by IM.

Due to this difference, there will always be a difference in the data for the same test, for the same time frame, when comparing eHealth with IM Response Path report charts.

This is by design, and any requested change to this functionality would require an Enhancement Request be submitted to the CA Communities Idea Wall for the related product for consideration.
