Question:

Request a Service and Report an Issue widgets in the USS is showing blank.

Environment:
Production
Answer:

 To fix this problem verify that the CORS filter is set correctly in the web.xml on the catalog server.

 

 The path to the web.xml is :

  USM_HOME\view\webapps\usm\WEB_INF\

Change the following entry 

<param-name>cors.allowed.origins</param-name>

<param-name>*</param-name>

to

<param-name>cors.allowed.origins</param-name>

<param-name>http://Catalogservername:portno, http://ussserrvername:portno </param-name>

 

Add both the Catalog Server host name and the Unified Self Service Host names to the trusted sites on the browser.

 

* Please note that the catalog servername and Unified Self Service Host names should be in lower case
