Reports not working after upgrade

Issue:

All SOI reports fail with the error message similar to: "Failed to open the connection: Services Summary"

Environment:
Windows 2008SOI 3.3CABI (Business Objects)
Resolution:

The problem is with Universe connection mapping to wrong DB, due to this the reports throwing this exception.

In order to correct this problem...

1) Make sure CABI Universe is connecting to SOI DB (SAMStore) and restart CABI Services.

2) You may delete & re-create CA_SAM Universe if needed and make sure it is connecting to correct SAMStore DB
