Question:

 Previously, I have configured CA APM with EEM.  Now I would like to login to CA APM directly using Local Security or using LDAP.

 How do I remove EEM component out of CA APM Introscope Infrastructure?

Environment:
CA APM 10.xCA EEM 12.xWindows Linux
Answer:

EEM:

1. Log into the EEM GUI with Global set as the Application.
2. Click on the Configure tab
3. Select APM
4. Click on Unregister.
5. Also remove the APM Users from the Manage Identities tab as well.

Introscope:

On the MOM (or EM if it is a standalone), modify the <EM home>/config/realms.xml file and remove the reference to EEM.  The out of the box realms.xml looks like the below:-

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<realms xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" version="0.1" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="realms0.1.xsd">
  <realm descriptor="Local Users and Groups Realm" id="Local Users and Groups" active="true">
    <property name="usersFile">
      <value>users.xml</value>
    </property>
  </realm>
</realms>

Save the file and restart the EM.
