Remove System Schedule after Updating from Version 6.00A to 8.00A
Resolution:

Symptoms

The System Schedule out of Version 6.00A and earlier versions got replaced by the period container, to activate objects periodically.
Usually the system schedule removes itself when all jobs have been executed accordingly to it's definitions.
If the system schedule can't be removed permanently, we can provide an SQL script to remove the System Schedule.
You might need to activate objects that have been stored in the system schedule with other functionality, for example execute objects periodically.might be needed to be

 


 

Cause

System Schedule Objects have been used in earlier versions of Automic, for example Version 6.00A and lower.
In Automic Versions 6.00A and later versions it executes all objects according to it's execution plan. As soon all activations have been performed, it gets removed automatically. In some rare cases it can't be removed automatically, very much depending on the way the migration to the newer version has been performed.

 


 

Resolution

Please contact Automic Support, we are happy to provide you an SQL script to remove the system schedule permanently.
In that occasion please inform us about your Automic version (8.00A, 9.00A, 10) and the database software that is in use (MS-SQL, Oracle or DB2).
