Description
While trying to connect to a Remote Control host using the option 'Connect as a different user account' and selecting the Repository drop down tab the following error occurs:
"The Authority list is not available".
Usually the authority list error comes up if there is a problem connecting to the Domain Manager (via. Host resolution) OR when the required CAF plugins are not up and running.
Solution
- Check whether the CAF services is running on the target using 'CAF STATUS'
- If any plugin is not running try starting it using CAF start plugin name.
- Verify that the required ports are opened in case the connection is made through a firewall.
- Use the command: CAF PING <Target hostname> to verify if the communication to the target machine.
Once you confirm that there is no communication issues, please apply the Published Patch: RO33498.
