Issue:
The Registry is not starting. From the Registry log file (registry.log), it looks like it is failing to connect to the Enterprise Dashboard:
ERROR System.err                     - The Enterprise Dashboard Server at 'http://<EnterpriseDashboardServer>:1506'
ERROR System.err                     - could not be contacted, and no current activation was found in the local
ERROR System.err                     - activation cache for this registry.
Environment:
All supported DevTest releases.
Resolution:
Make sure the Enterprise Dashboard is up and running.
. Open a web browser and try to access the Enterprise Dashboard using HTTP if there is no response, try HTTPS:
http://<EnterpriseDashboardServer>:1506
https://<EnterpriseDashboardServer>:1506

In the Registry server, verify the connectivity to the Enterprise Dashboard server:
. Try to ping the EnterpriseDashboardServer - ping EnterpriseDashboardServerHostName or IPAddress
. Try to telnet to EnterpriseDashboardServer in the port 1506 - telnet EnterpriseDashboardServerHostName 1506

Confirm you have the correct information in the lisa.properties file or the site.properties file:
. Below are the 3 properties that need to be updated regarding the Enterprise Dashboard:
devtest.enterprisedashboard.host=EnterpriseDashboardServerHostName or IPAddress
devtest.enterprisedashboard.port=1506
devtest.enterprisedashboard.https.enabled=false or true
. If the Enterprise Dashboard is responding to HTTPS requests only, the property devtest.enterprisedashboard.https.enabled needs to be set to true.
. If the Enterprise Dashboard is responding to HTTS requests only, the property devtest.enterprisedashboard.https.enabled needs to be set to false.
