MicroFocus reuses job IDs. If a previously used job ID remains in non-complete state in Agent DB files, the Agent will then relate the new status of reused job ID with old job. The agent will report the status back to WA server on old job and not on the new one. The old records need to be cleared once a job has ended in MicroFocus.
As of now, if the problem shows up on WA server, the agent must be cold started. The cold start of the agent will clear the old DB files.
To cold start the agent:
- Shut down MicroFocus agent
- Navigate to database directory in the agent install directory
- Delete or move all the files (odb) to some other location
- Start the agent
