Receiving error message "Timeout [RCIRAS0244]" when running a report using Spectrum Report Manager

Description:

When selecting a report that contains a lot of events It is possible to see an error message in Infoview claims with Timeout [RCIRAS0244]

Solution:

To extend the timeout to allow a report to run 60 minutes, use the CMC to change the following:

  1. Go to Servers and double click Crystal Reports Processing Server to
  2. Open the Properties window.
  3. Change Idle Job Timeout (minutes) to 60.
  4. Change Idle Connection Timeout (minutes) to 60.
  5. Click Save & Close .
  6. Double click on the Crystal Reports Cache Server to open the Properties window.
  7. Change Idle Connection Timeout (minutes) to 60.
  8. Restart both servers.

In the BOXI Tomcat area, edit the following files:

  • webapps/InfoViewAppAction/WEB-INF/web.xml
  • webapps/InfoViewApp/WEB-INF/web.xml
  • webapps/PlatformServices/WEB-INF/web.xml

In each file, find <session-timeout> and change the value to 60.

Restart BOXI Tomcat
