Introduction:
Added robots to the development UIM domain and are collecting metrics from them successfully.  Alarms from the Production UIM domain were raised for those robots added to the development UIM domain but these robots do not appear in Infrastructure Manager or Admin Console for the Production UIM domain.
Question:
Why are robots from the development UIM domain missing from Infrastructure Manager and Admin Console in the production domain but are generating alarms from the production UIM domain?
Environment:
UIM 8.51
hub:  7.93
robot:  7.93
Answer:
The robot in the development UIM domain that the alarms were coming from was configured to fail over to a secondary hub in the production UIM domain.  If the robot loses connection with the hub in the development domain, it will fail over to the configured secondary hub in the production domain and  all QoS and alarm messages are injected into the production UIM domain causing the alarms to be sent out by the production nas as emails.

Recommendation is to configure a secondary hub in the development UIM domain as the secondary fail over hub for the robot in the development UIM domain.
