When using FROM NBI_PROJECT_RES_TASK_FACTS to do reporting.
If the resource's rate changed because their financial properties changed, some of the fact dates dates show two rows, one for the correct rate, one for the old rate.
This scenario is happening for resources who are changed from contractor to full time.
I have customer data but also recreated the scenario on sandbox.
Inital setup before STR.
Rate Matrix Columns:
Input Type Code
Resource originally has specific resource ID in the matrix (as a contractor)
Resource rate at one time was the same as the new rate based on input type code
Resource converts to FTE and get a blended rate. Input Type Code is used for this rate.
- Input type code row started before the resource actually moved to this band
- Resources original rows in the matrix updated to reflect the end date when the resource became FTE and input type code changed.
Earned value costs appear to pick up the correct rates but NBI_PROJECT_RES_TASK_FACTS is showing two rates for some periods.
