Issue:
After installing or upgrading to Client Automation r14 GA, the sdserver (sd_server.exe) process is crashing during software job deployments.

Here’s what is seen in the trace for SD_Server:
ERROR  | CTrigger::Trigg: SmSend failed, return code=0x33205
ERROR  | Unable to trig <Computer Name>
ERROR  | Unable to trig unit
ERROR  | ##### HW Exception occurred [PID:xxxx] ####
 
Here's the exception you may observe in the sd_server process crash log:
sd_server.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module <UNKNOWN> at 0023:00019800

sd_server.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module sd_server.exe at 0023:00FE9BBE, OutOfBounds::`default constructor closure'()+932023 byte(s)
Environment:
CA Client Automation - r14 GA only.
Cause:
The crash occurs when sdserver is attempting to send a trigger to the target agent, and is unable to resolve the hostname of the agent via DNS.  This crash can occur when any agent being triggered is not resolvable via DNS, including pre-registered agents.  This patch is applicable to all r14 GA customers with software delivery installed, and should be installed on all Domain Managers and external Scalability Servers.
Resolution:
Apply Published Patch: RO90819 to resolve the crash.
