Questions regarding DE
Question:
Does the Agent have the ability to run all workload in an application if the DE Manager is unavailable? If so, please explain.
Environment:
CA Workload Automation DE
Answer:
If the workload is already submitted to the Agent by the DE scheduler before the scheduler is unavailable, the agent will continue to run the workload. However, the agent will not be able to return the status back to the manager if the manager is unavailable.

Additional Information:
In DE High Availability (HA) configuration where you have the primary and standby server, if the primary server fails, the standby server will take over the role of the primary and continue processing the workload. The agent is smart enough to communicate with any of the schedulers in High Availability configuration.
