Issue:
Running an apache reverse proxy behind the UMP may cause an issue where the below error is seen in httpd logs:

'timeout specified has expired ah01030 ajp_ilink_receive() can't receive header'

The netstat output reported CLOSE_WAIT state for TCP connections on port 8009
Environment:
Any UIM version
Apache reverse proxy
Cause:
the WASP probe doesn't seem to release his TCP connections.
Resolution:
The setting below are added in raw config to the WASP probe

If it doesn’t exist, create a section under setup called ajp_connector. Then create two keys with values as follows:

Key Name
Value
connectionTimeout
120000
keepAliveTimeout
120000

Then, restart the WASP. All section and key names are case sensitive.

You’ll know the fix is working if the number of connections on port 8009 from the UMP to the reverse proxy drop substantially and you start to see connections that go into a closing state.
