Issue:
I'm trying to understand what actions are requires at my site regarding PTF RO99650.

PTF RO99650 indicates that WBEM will be added to the RDT Table with POSIT=604, so there's nothing a site needs to do for that.  Correct?

What is WBEM?

How can I tell if WBEM is being used?
Resolution:
WBEM is a resource class just like dataset, program, transaction...

if you needed to use this resource class before the fix, you had to manually add it to the RDT.

The fix makes WBEM a default resource class, so you no longer need to add it, if you need it. Just like datasset, program and transaction.

Issue a TSS WHOOWNS WBEM(*) to see if you are using it.

If you were using it before. WBEM will be renamed automatically to something else.

You will need to re-PERMIT, to the WBEM resource class after the fix is applied.

If you are not currently using the WBEM resource class, then there is really nothing you need to do.

WBEM is used for CIM. Please see the following knowledge doc on setting up CIM with TSS.
