Question:

Can one use the 'profile' attribute for jobs that are type: FT and FW?

Environment:
AE 11.3.xDatabase - ANYPlatform - ANY
Answer:

Profiles can be specified for file watcher job types but not for file trigger job types.

JIL will reject attempts to include a profile in a job definition of type FT.

Example

jil>>1> insert_job: j1

jil>>2> job_type: FT

jil>>3> machine: redhat-1136sp5

jil>>4> watch_file: /tmp/j1.out

jil>>5> watch_file_type: EXPAND

jil>>6> watch_file_change_type: SIZE

jil>>7> watch_file_change_value: 100

jil>>8> profile: /home/autosys/j1.sh

jil>>9> exit
