Issue:

Processes that should auto-start based on the task object do not always initiate when the changes are done in OWB (Open Workbench).
There are inconsistencies with the processes. We can see the process works if you change the task name in OWB, but if you change Estimate or hours it doesn't work

Steps To Reproduce:

  1. Set up this process 'Testing Process'
  2. Go into a project
  3. Open this project into OWB
  4. Change the ETC
  5. Save back to CA PPM and you will see the process hasn't ran
  6. If you then open the project into OWB
  7. Rename the task
  8. Save back to CA PPM and you will see the process has run

Expected Result: For the process to work if you change the Estimate or hours etc.

Actual Result: There are inconsistencies with the processes, for example, we can see the process works if you change the task name, but if you change Estimate or hours it doesn't work

Environment:
CA PPM v14.2, v14.4
Cause:
This is caused by CLRT-80538.
Resolution:

This is fixed in CA PPM 15.1
