DESCRIPTION:

The following is a procedure in which to reinstall the CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) ODBC client and server services in CA SDM R14. 

SOLUTION:

For CA Business Intelligence (CABI) reporting, if there are problems with the startup of the CA SDM ODBC server services, an uninstall and then reinstall of the ODBC services might be required.

For CA SDM R14.1, perform the below steps:

1.  To uninstall the ODBC client and server services, from the CA SDM server run the following commands from the command prompt:

oa72_client_uninstall
oa72_server_uninstall

2.  To reinstall the ODBC client and server, from the CA SDM server run the following commands from the command prompt:

oa72_server_setup
oa72_client_setup
