Use the bindaddr parameter to prevent an incorrect IP address from being selected.
The bind parameter represents the IP address or the host name for communication to the agent.
Use this parameter when the connection should be established via a particular IP address (for example, the computer has more than one network interface card).

The correct setup for an Agent running on a Machine with 2 Network Interfaces is like the "workaround" describes.
Bind the IP to one of the NIC's.
