APM 10.7
Linux RedHat 7.4
We are installing the postgres database and it is not being installed successfully on this linux machine.
We are encountering many different install issues. We have tried multiple times as fresh install of the postgres database but each time it fails for one reasons or other,
we find that su command is getting killed on this system. su -s /bin/sh - postgres -c "ls /tmp" Killed The machine has security software which is preventing su command. the security software is controlminder which stops su Other linux machines where postgres is installed successfully. On the machine where postgres is installed successfully, we can do the following: su postgres it is successful. On the machine where we are having install issues, we do the following: su postgres it returns message: Killed. fixed the su command issue. uninstalled EVERYTHING and re-installed the DB and MOM and now its working. We believe the issue was CA ControlMinder stopping the scripts from being ran.
