Problem:

If you have a maximized portlet and click on Restore and then Maximize another portet, you will have to Publish the tab for the change to take place. If you don't click on Restore, the change of the maximazed portlet takes place without need it to Publish the tab.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Administration Menu, Portlets: open the 'Project Default Layout' page
Create Tab: MyTab
Add 4 portlets: A,B,C,D
Set portlet A Maximized

2. Open a Project that uses the 'Project Default Layout' and go to Tab: MyTab
=> Only shows A and it is Maximized. This is correct.

3. Click on the +/- configure button and configure Tab: MyTab
Make B Maximized
Save and Return
Return
=> Only shows B and it is Maximized. This is correct.
I didn't have to Publish the Tab: MyTab and the change took place

4. Use the drop down for the portlet B and select Restore
=> It shows portlets A,B,C. This is correct.

5. Again Click on the +/- configure button and configure Tab: MyTab

Make C Maximized
Save and Return
Return
=> Still shows portlets A,B,C. The change didn't take place. This is incorrect.

Again Click on the +/- configure button and configure Tab: MyTab
Go to properties Tab
Publish the Tab: MyTab
Yes
Save and Return
Return
=> Only shows C and it is Maximized. This is correct.

After Restore you will need to Publish the tab each time you make a change.

If I don't perform a restore, I can make other portlet Maximized and the change takes place.

Expected Result: Maximized portlet should be displayed. You shouldn't need to Publish the tab.

Actual Result: Maximized portlet is not displayed. You need to Publish the tab for the change to take place.

Environment:

Cause:

Caused by CLRT-76263
