Question:
After applying CR9, Internet Explorer v9 is not able to display the page correctly, for example the top menu is missing, navigation items on the left have strange bullets or content itself is not well formatted.
Environment:
Portal 3.5 version CR08 and CR09
Answer:
We have fixed it. It seems CR9 (or maybe CR8, we were using CR7 until now) added this
<xsl:if test="$value != ''"><meta name="X-UA-Compatible" content="{$value}"/></xsl:if>
into
/SYSTEM/stylesheets/sitebuilder/PageMeta.xsl

Which should be correctly defined as:
<xsl:if test="$value != ''"><meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="{$value}"/></xsl:if>

After changing and publishing, IE now correctly disables compatibility mode by itself.
