Issue :

Starting the Policy Server, this one gives the error :

  /netegrity/siteminder/start-all[91]:
  .: /apps/sm/netegrity/siteminder/../aas/sbin/arrfenv:
  cannot open [No such file or directory]

Environment :

Policy Server 12.52SP1 on RedHat 6;

Resolution :

By running ./start-all command on Policy Server starting 12.52SP1, you do need to have the Session Assurance installed and configured.

If you get this error, this means that you haven't the Session Assurance installed and configured properly.

If you don't need Session Assurance with your Policy Server, you can overcome this error by starting and stopping the Policy Server that way :

./start-ps
./stop-ps

If you need Session Assurance and as such to start the Policy Server with ./start-all, then you need to make sure that the user you run the Policy Server
installer has full permission on the directory :

/netegrity

in order to create the aas folder :

/netegrity/aas

and then enable Session Assurance running the configurator.
